The business, which has been operating in the same building since 1923, announced at the beginning of July that it would be closing down.
But before the shutters close, the owners have partnered with Heritage Open Days to give people the opportunity to see behind the scenes of the historic shop.
Six tours were made available on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12, but owner David D'Arcy confirmed that "only a few spaces" remained for the tour at 2pm on Saturday.
He said: "It is the end of an era and the family connection with Peterborough.
"For me personally I have enjoyed talking to people about the business and the family history associated with it."
