Vegan market returns to Cathedral Square in September

Peterborough Vegan Market is making a comeback on September 12, after organisers were forced to cancel all events over the summer due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Peterborough Vegan Market operates out of Cathedral Square on several Saturdays throughout the year. It features up to 45 stalls of various products and services - from vegan cakes and fast food, to healthy locally-grown vegetables, handmade cosmetics and clothing, and charity stalls.

Trading hours are 10.30am to 4pm. The market is fully accessible for all, and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

The event often attracts between 1,000 and 1,300 direct visitors, and the location of the market brings high footfall from people who were just visiting the city centre. For anyone interesting in trading at the event, the application can be found here.

Peterborough Vegan Market is organised by Vegan Markets UK, a business that works with local councils to deliver vegan markets in city and town centres across the country.
