Carly Beech

Carly grew up in Peterborough and took her A levels at Thomas Deacon Academy. After a successful three years studying journalism at Sheffield Hallam University, she worked in London for 18 months as a showbiz reporter at Daily Star Online. Her time in showbiz saw her tackle many new and interesting experiences, including festivals, concerts and events.

During her time in a busy newsroom, she was working with FeatureMe! UK doing freelance work and finding out all the interesting stories about people just like you or me. She also worked as a content writer for Zazzle Media, which has allowed her to dip into multiple industries. Now at Peterborough Matters, Carly will be gathering more information to understand what the people of Peterborough want to hear about.
