Bubble CiTea had planned to hold a soft opening today, July 9, with its grand opening event happening on Saturday July 10.
A spokesperson from the British bubble tea brand told Peterborough Matters that the delay is due to "technical issues" and that the opening would be pushed back one week.
Bubble CiTea already operates 18 stores across England and is now bringing its range of traditional Taiwanese drinks to Peterborough as part of plans to open 40 new stores by the end of the year.
The menu is completely customisable, starting from £3.35 per drink, and customers can choose from fruit teas, milk teas or crushed ice drinks.
