Madelynn Yerrell, who was crowned Miss Teen Peterborough in 2019, decided to throw a Midnight Masquerade ball after hearing about the charity Together for Short Lives during her pageant.
Speaking about the event, she said: "This charity has a huge impact on the lives of others, particularly for families with seriously ill children. Together for Short Lives makes sure those families make the most of the time spent together.
The charity cannot do it alone, which is why all money received for this ball will go to them!"
The masquerade ball is to be held on Saturday February 29, and begins at 7pm. Tickets are £25 and can be bought by emailing Madelynn at madelynnyerrell001@gmail.com.
