The four-piece gained fans with their 2017 debut album, Before Dark Clouds, and released a self-titled six-track record in 2019. They've been heard on the airwaves of Radio 2 and Planet Rock, and are ready to repeat their success with their third album, due later this year.

Lead singer and guitarist, David James Smith, said: "We're overwhelmed with the support we're getting. It's not just locally, we're now known all across the land. We can't wait to say a huge thank you, especially to our home-town fans, by playing our biggest local gig to date at the Cresset."

As well as the show at the Cresset, Austin Gold are also part of the lineup for the Cambridge Rock Festival in June, held at the Peterborough Showground.

Austin Gold are signed by Jigsaw Records and members include David James Smith, Russ Hill, Chris Ogden and Lee Churchill.
