Lost World will open on Thursday March 12, several weeks ahead of schedule. There will be an indoor soft play area over three levels, a toddlers' play space, climbing walls, a 360° volcano slide and an interactive climbing wall, both being the first of their kind in Peterborough.

Steve Coulson, operations manager at Serpentine Green, said: "We know that our visitors aren’t just looking for a great choice of shops, but also want entertainment and a great place to spend time with their families. Lost World will be a brilliant addition to the centre and our local community. With lots of activities on offer as well as somewhere for parents to relax, there’ll be something for all ages.

"We’re proud to be partnered with Vivacity to bring this to the centre. The work that Vivacity does to bring communities together is fantastic and makes a real difference to the city’s residents.”

In addition to the activities for children, Lost World will also feature a relaxing coffee shop for parents, as well as a reading area and mini-library.
