Busy staff at Peterborough City Hospital were on the receiving end of some festive cheer on December 21 - with free refreshments to see them through the day.

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust welcomed and thanked members of the Rapid Relief Team UK who were on site from early in the morning and throughout the rest of the day offering free tea, coffee and bacon baps to all staff who support patients.

This gesture was organised by the North West Anglia Hospitals' Charity who have liaised with the Rapid Relief Team to ensure support is available for Trust staff today.

And alongside the Rapid Relief Team UK volunteers were two of the Hospitals’ Charity mascots who helped to serve and bring and smile to the faces of staff.

Peterborough City Hospital, Rutland and Stamford Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon are all part of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
