A mens' choir is launching in March with the aim of having some fun and supporting Prostate Cancer UK.

Men United in Song 2023 is a pop-up singing project that will give 40-plus local men the opportunity to get involved.  and do something really worthwhile.

Working over nine weeks towards a live performance at Peterborough Cathedral in May, members will learn to sing, challenge themselves and raise money for a much-loved and important charity.

"No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to step outside your comfort zone, get stuck in and give it a go," said Claire Hailey from Peterborough Sings.

"Last year’s project was an overwhelmingly positive experience for the men who took part," she added.

Men United in Song kicks off with introductory session on March 2, from 6.30pm-10pm) and on March 3, from 6.30p-10pm) when you can meet the team and some of the other men who will be taking part.

"This is not an audition and there’s no big red buzzer, just an opportunity to find out more and get involved," adds Claire.

Men United in Song introductory sessions will be at the John Mansfield Campus PE1 4HX.

Men United in Song rehearsals will be at the John Mansfield Campus PE1 4HX from 7.45pm on Thursday evenings, starting on Thursday, March 9.
