One of Peterborough’s best-known accountants has launched his own business after spending the last 30 years at Rawlinsons, who were taken over firstly by Baldwins and then re-named Azets.
Accountants Ken Craig and his wife Marie have set up TC Craigs in a coalition with the TC Group, an Accountancy Age ‘Top 30’ firm of accountants and tax advisers specialising in the provision of bespoke, high-quality accountancy and taxation solutions.
“We are very excited to set up our own business which will focus on delivering a personal and attentive full accountancy service and support individuals and businesses alike – from start-ups to established companies,” said Ken.
“I have worked in the city for 30 years and have become part of the established business network. Marie also has more than 20 years of experience.
"We have developed many strong relationships with clients and business acquaintances over the years and we are both confident we can build on that foundation.”
“Our association with the TC Group enables us to access additional specialist services but still provides us with the independence, identity and flexibility we have been seeking,” added Marie, a former director and accountant at Azets.
The business will operate from offices in the Peterborough Business Park in Lynch Wood.
