Burnt Out in Biscuit Land, by acclaimed, disabled-led theatre company Touretteshero, lands in Peterborough next week with Jumped Up Theatre on June 14/15.

Set in an apocalyptic bunker in which three people work out how to carry on. They sing, knit, eat tinned peaches, and write disgruntled emails, but as they move the clock ever forwards, they start to wonder if things might be better on the outside.

Following the story, Jess Thom will then host a conversation, including a Q&A, inviting the audience to celebrate our differences and possibilities.

In addition, the project also provides a national platform for local disabled artists.

All performances will be relaxed, captioned in English, and will have audio description built in.

The live elements of the show on June 14 will also be BSL Interpreted. All venues on the tour are wheelchair accessible. All performances will be livestreamed, meaning audiences can watch the performance online if they prefer.

Access documents are available to help audiences decide if the experience is for them.

These documents include a venue story, visual story, relaxed performance overview, content notices and covid safety information.

Tickets, which can be booked via the Key Theatre website and start at £5, with free tickets for support workers: www:keytheatre-peterborough.com/event/tourettes-hero-burnt-out-in-biscuit-land.
