Peterborough police were recently invited by a school for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities to attend their careers day.
During their visit to Lime Academy, officers spoke to the children about what they do, and answered any questions about day-to-day policing.
"The students really enjoyed getting to try on our hats and explore the car," said a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
"We hope they had a great time learning about what we do and know more about our roles in keeping the community safe," said a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary."
