A woman has died after she fell from the bridge over the A47 at Eye Green last night.
Police received a call at 1.47am this morning (Tuesday April 9) and attended the scene alongside both air and land ambulances attended.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary confirmed that the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that there is not believed to have been any third party involvement.
The road was closed from the A47/A1139 roundabout up to the A47/B1167 while emergency services remained at the scene.
It then re-opened at about 5.40am.
