Cambridgeshire Police officers have been hard at work to tackle the "fatal four" offences that driver's commit.

The fatal four are speeding, using a mobile phone while driving, not wearing a seatbelt, and other traffic offences (which may include driving without a licence or insurance).

Officers have been out and about on dangerous roads in Cambridgeshire, and they targeted high casualty routes in the county.

As a result of the work over the last few weeks, Cambridgeshire Police caught:

  • 25 people speeding
  • Two people on their mobile phones
  • Eight people not wearing a seatbelt
  • Seven people committing other traffic offences

Other traffic offences may also include driving with bald tyres and driving without due care.
