Two vehicles were involved in a collision on the A1(M) this afternoon.
The vehicles collided between junction 16 at Stilton and junction 18 at Chesterton.
The Highways Agency have warned road users to allow extra time for their journey and avoid the area if possible.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 1.26pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A1 northbound near Alwalton.
"Officers attended and partially closed the road while a vehicle was recovered. No injuries were sustained, and the road will reopen shortly’.
