An inquest has been opened into the death of a 74-year-old woman who lived with a kidney condition for much of her life.
Isabelle Flores died in Peterborough on June 14, 2023, and the brief hearing offered an insight into her health issues.
When summarising the provisional cause of death, Elizabeth Gray outlined a series of kidney-related conditions, and mentioned Ms Flores had a transplant in 1977.
She listed acute-on-chronic kidney failure; kidney transplant graft rejection and infection; and end-stage kidney disease of unknown cause (kidney transplant in 1977).
Cessation of anti-rejection medication and heart disease were also stated.
The inquest opening was held at Lawrence Court, Huntingdon, on February 13, 2025.
The case has been adjourned and will resume as a pre-inquest review on June, 25, 2025.
