Peterborough Cathedral’s Cathedral in Crisis Campaign is entering its final week, with just over £200,000 raised to date, thanks to the extraordinary generosity of more than 1,000 individual donors.
With the finish line in sight, the Cathedral is making a final appeal to the community to help it get as close as possible to its £300,000 target.
The funds raised are vital to ensuring the Cathedral can remain open seven days a week in 2025 and continue its long-term plans for sustainability.
Without the necessary financial support, the Cathedral’s ability to serve as a place of worship, heritage, and community gathering is at risk.

“We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of those who have already donated,” said the cathedral's head of fundraising Anna Bentley.
“Every pound raised makes a difference, and with just over a week to go, we are urging everyone who values the Cathedral to give what they can. Together, we can secure its future.”
