Construction students were given a taste of the industry by experts during a Construction Skills Development Workshop.
The session at Peterborough College's Centre for Green Technology was led by professionals from Turner & Townsend and AECOM, who shared firsthand insights and advice with students considering careers in the built environment.
Senior figures in attendance included Guy Burton and Anthony Parker-Please, associate directors at Turner & Townsend, and Ashley Voss, project director at AECOM.
They were joined by Turner & Townsend colleagues Waqas Tuqeer, Samson Yau, and Cas Chohan.

Henry Saidler, a T Level student in construction design and surveying at Peterborough College, said: "Meeting professionals from Turner & Townsend and AECOM was truly eye-opening.
"It has motivated me to aim higher and pursue a career where I can make a difference in the construction industry."
The workshop gave students an in-depth look at job roles across the sector, emerging skills requirements, and entry pathways into fields such as project management, environment lead, quantity surveying, and technical disciplines.
The value of degree apprenticeships, Level 3 apprenticeships, and trainee programmes was also discussed.
The session included smaller group consultations, giving students the chance to ask questions and receive personalised feedback about their career options.
