A third man has been charged with the murder of Conor Kinlan in Peterborough.
Jordanas Prismontas, 18, of Fulbridge Road, Peterborough, was arrested on Sunday (February 1) and has since been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court today (February 4).
Conor’s body was found in the River Nene on January 24 and a postmortem investigation on January 30 gave a preliminary cause of death as drowning.
Two other men have also been charged with the murder.
Thomas McShane, 19, of Collier Mews, Paston, Peterborough, was charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class B drug.
He appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on January 31 and was remanded in custody to appear at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday (February 3).
Cole Mackaness, 19, of Baden Powell Way, Wellingborough, was arrested on Friday evening and has since been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on February 2 and was remanded in custody to appear at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday (February 3).
An 18-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on February 1 on suspicion of murder.
An 18-year-old woman also from Peterborough was arrested on February 1 on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A 19-year-old man, who had been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender last week, has been released on bail to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on April 29.
