Cross Keys Homes has been awarded national recognition for its commitment to resident engagement.
The Peterborough-based housing association earned the Tpas Landlord Accreditation for the third time, following an in-depth and rigorous assessment process by Tpas, England’s leading Tenant Engagement experts.
Tpas praised Cross Keys Homes for having "well-established arrangements in place for engaging residents and enabling influence throughout all sections of the business."
Claire Higgins, chief executive of Cross Keys Homes, said: "This recognition is fantastic news for both residents and employees.
"Getting residents involved in the running of our business is key to delivering the right services in the right way.
"It ensures we provide the highest possible standard of customer service and achieve great value for money by providing the services that our residents want.
"Strong resident engagement has also supported us in securing our C1 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing.
"I am very proud that we have achieved national recognition from an organisation as highly respected as Tpas."
Cross Keys Homes relaunched its resident engagement panels in October 2024 to mark its 20th anniversary.
The new programme reflects the changing needs of both the company and its residents.
Panels focus on areas such as communications, equity, diversity and inclusion, service improvement, and complaints.
The chair and vice-chair of the Resident Experience Panel also sit on the Group Board to ensure resident voices are heard at the highest level.
Jenny Osbourne, chief executive of Tpas, said: "We are delighted that Cross Keys Homes has successfully achieved accreditation with Tpas again.
"We look forward to sharing the stories of how CKH have used the accreditation process to achieve success by working together with residents."
