Car crashes into front of Peterborough barbers shop

The vehicle was driven into the pillars outside the Halls chemist / vaccination centre next to Fosters Barbershop on Napier Place parade on Monday May 25.

Fosters Barbershop wrote on social media: "A man put his car in drive instead of reverse and ploughed through one pillar before hitting a second one.

"Thankfully no one was hurt.

"A support post has been put in place but we are currently waiting for the buildings to be deemed structurally safe to open."

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 6.35pm on May 25 to Napier Place in Peterborough after reports a car had collided with a chemist.

"There were no injuries and no arrests."
