Man who died after car crashed in Peterborough house named

The 40-year-old died after his blue Ford Mondeo crashed into a house on Paston Ridings at around 6pm on May 17. 

The man has now been named as Richard Woollard from Werrington and his family have since paid tribute to him. 

In a statement, his family said: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our son, Richard.

"He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time."

A man and a woman in their 70s were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers continue to appeal for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
