An "abnormal load" will travel through Cambridgeshire today (July 16), which could cause slow traffic.

It will pass through the county between 5am and 5pm.

Abnormal loads are wider and/or longer than normal Heavy Goods Vehicles.

The route will follow the M11 northbound to junction 14, the A14 eastbound to junction 33, the A10 northbound to Littleport, and the A1101 westbound onto its final destination in Littleport.

According to Cambridgeshire County Council, traffic may be slow and might be held whilst manoeuvring the load along certain roads.

The council added that for some abnormal loads, a police escort may be required.
