Further details have emerged after the body of a man was discovered in a Cambridgeshire river.
Police were called to Town Bridge, in Peterborough, at just after 8am on Monday (July 20).
It followed reports that a body could be seen in the River Nene.
Cambridgeshire Police have since confirmed the death is being treated as “unexplained” and that the man has not yet been identified.
A spokesperson for the force said officers believe he may have been in the water since Sunday (July 19).
Those who think they may have seen anything are urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident 94 of July 20.
