A man who threatened to stab a shop worker during a robbery has been jailed for two-and-a-half years.
Dane O'Callaghan, 38, was spotted by another customer in The Right Time, Westgate, in Peterborough, putting two Henley watches in his pocket.
The woman reported what she had seen to a member of staff, who challenged O'Callaghan.
He responded by reaching into his pocket and making an action to suggest he had a knife, before threatening to stab the woman and then fleeing the shop.
O'Callaghan, of no known address, was pursued by a man but managed to get away.

However, he was identified and arrested by police later the same day.
He initially denied robbery but was jailed for two-and-a-half years on Monday (July 27) after changing his plea on the first day of a trial at Cambridge Crown Court.
DC Hannah Worthington said: "Although no knife was seen during this robbery, the victim fully believed O'Callaghan was armed and feared for her safety.
"I’m pleased he was identified, quickly arrested and has now been jailed for his actions."
