A thief who stole items including cans of Stella Artois and Red Bull from shops in Peterborough has been jailed.
William Thornton, 50, went to Asda in Rivergate at around 10.30am on July 12.
He placed cans of the beer and meat in a bag before walking out.
After leaving he gave some of the cans to other people sitting outside.
On August 5, he turned his attention to B&M in the Ortongate Shopping Centre.
He stole sweets, 15 steaks, cans of Heineken and a four pack of Red Bull worth nearly £70 combined.

Thornton, of Padholme Road, Eastfield, Peterborough, was identified and arrested three days later.
On August 10 at Peterborough Magistrates' Court he was jailed for six months, having admitted two counts of theft from a shop.
PC Omar Farahat said: "These were brazen thefts where Thornton strolled into the shops, selected the items he wanted and simply walked out with them.
"This type of behaviour is incredibly frustrating for retail staff. We continue to work with outlets to do all we can to combat issues such as theft."
