A teenager accused of inciting a young girl to engage in sexual activity has appeared in court.

The 14-year-old boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, appeared at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court for a plea hearing on August 12.

He faces one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 and two counts of inciting a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity.

The teenager is also charged with making six indecent images of a child across categories A, B and C.

The offences are alleged to have occurred in Cambridgeshire in early 2024.

He was remanded on unconditional bail for a pre-sentence report to be prepared ahead of a hearing on September 14 at Cambridge Magistrates' Court.
