An ex-Cambridgeshire Police officer has been accused of having an "inappropriate" personal relationship with a woman.
It is alleged PC Neil Woodley breached the standards of professional behaviour to the level of gross misconduct.
Woodley is accused of forming and "maintaining an inappropriate relationship with a female member of the public" between June 12, 2022, and April 5, 2023.
It is alleged that during the same time he failed to "discharge his duties and responsibilities diligently".
Woodley failed to "take appropriate safeguarding measures following suicidal intent and/or self-harm by a female member of the public," it is claimed.
He is set to face a misconduct hearing at 10am on Tuesday (September 1) which will determine whether he committed gross misconduct.
