Nile Rodgers & Chic are set to headline a major night of music near Cambridgeshire.
The legendary act will perform at Newmarket Racecourse’s July Course on Friday, July 30, 2027, as part of the popular Newmarket Nights summer concert series, which blends live music with an evening of racing.
Nile Rodgers, the iconic co-founder of Chic, said: "Newmarket, we’ve missed you!"
"We’re excited to return on Friday July 30th with our all-killer-no-filler set of hits and we can’t wait to turn the racecourse into one huge dancefloor."
Mr Rodgers is a multiple Grammy Award-winning songwriter, producer, and guitarist.
He has penned and produced chart-topping hits with Chic including Le Freak and Good Times, and collaborated with musical legends such as Madonna, Diana Ross, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Daft Punk, Beyoncé, and Sam Smith.
