Arthur Rank Hospice Charity has been announced as the charity partner from local accountancy and tax advice firm Bulley Davey, as Little Miracles receive a £1,000 donation from the firm.

The company supports a new charity every year, but after the disruption of Covid-19 many charitable plans had to be cancelled and the firm decided to make a donation to the Little Miracles charity.

Over 10,000 children in the East of England currently receive support from Little Miracles, who support families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions, the charity is completely funded by donations.

Speaking about the donation, Chris McKenna, Director at Bulley Davey, said: "We were saddened by the prospect of not being able to fundraise in our usual way last year, due to Covid-19, but we made the decision to ensure a donation was made and that an important charity like Little Miracles gets the support it deserves in this difficult and uncertain time."

Bulley Davey also announced its charity of the year for 2021 – Arthur Rank Hospice Charity – with the hope that regular charity events, like cake sales, dress-down days and quizzes can resume this year.

Claire Smithee, Associate at Bulley Davey, said: "Our hospices have had one of the most difficult years in memory in 2020 and they need all the support they can get. We’re proud to have them as our charity of the year for 2021 and we hope to raise plenty of money to support them in their essential work for people with advanced serious illnesses or life-limiting conditions."
