Sports Booker, a specialist in online booking software for a range of sectors including education, sport and leisure, wellbeing and holiday parks, has qualified for the accreditation which allows British businesses to use the Made in Britain mark.

This mark is protected and can only be used by official members of the organisation, that works to bring together a community of British businesses with a physical or digital product.

Account manager Alice MacNicol commented: "Sports Booker has been delivering online booking systems to a wide range of industries since 2011.

"Having the Made in Britain accreditation is very important to us as a business. We are proud to say our online booking software has been developed to the highest standards in Great Britain, and our team of technical experts are here in Peterborough.

"We hope this accreditation will help consumers to easily identify our product and reassure them that our software is designed to the highest standards. We also look forward to the possibility of collaborating with other like-minded members of Made in Britain."

John Pearce, chief executive of Made in Britain said: "We're delighted that Sports Booker has joined the community of more than 1,400 British manufacturers. The more the mark is used and seen, the more it is recognised as a mark of quality.

"In addition to getting access to the official protected mark, Sports Booker will also start to enjoy the many other benefits membership to Made in Britain brings, including support in sales, marketing, PR/comms and export. We look forward to watching Sports Booker grow with our help and support."
