A UK travel company has ceased trading after 39 years, and travellers are being urged to act now or risk losing their holiday bookings.
Wroxham Travel, established in 1987, was an independent travel agency offering holiday packages to destinations including Turkey, Greece, and Portugal.
The company was based in Norwich with two offices in Hoveton and Aylsham.
Wroxham Travel closes after 39 years
Wroxham Travel closed on October 30 after 39 years of trading.
An ABTA spokesperson said: "We are sorry to inform you that Wroxham Travel has ceased trading with effect from 30 October 2026.
"We are now treating this as a financial failure."
Travellers urged to take immediate action or risk losing holiday
The closure means that customers who booked holidays through Wroxham Travel must take immediate action to protect their bookings.
ABTA has advised affected travellers to check their booking documents to identify the tour operator or principal business through which Wroxham Travel made the booking.
For flight-inclusive holidays, this information will be listed on the ATOL certificate under ‘Who is protecting your trip’.
ABTA said: "To ensure your holiday can continue as planned, you will need to contact the credit control department of your tour operator or other principal travel business with whom you have a contract.
"Your booking should continue as normal, and they will be your direct point of contact.
"Please ensure that you have all your documentation with you, as they may require information from it to assist you."
