Today is the last chance to vote for a Christmas truck visit.

People across Great Britain have until 4pm on Tuesday, November 3, to vote for their town to be considered for a stop on the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck tour.

The vote opened on October 20 and gives members of the public a say on where the truck goes for the first time.

Eligible voters can visit the Coca-Cola voting page, register or log in and choose a town.

The promotion is open to Great Britain residents aged 18 and over, with some exclusions, and each person can cast up to three votes.

Votes can be used for the same town or different towns.

The five eligible towns with the most valid votes will be considered for a truck visit in November or December, but a high number of votes does not guarantee a stop.

Coca-Cola says any chosen site must meet safety and operational requirements, fit within the tour schedule and receive final approval.

Confirmed stops will be announced 24 to 48 hours before each visit, according to the promotion's terms.

Visitors to tour stops can expect games, Coca-Cola merchandise and cold drinks alongside the illuminated red truck.

Social media star Joe Sugg voted for Corsham, where he went to school and still has friends living nearby.

He said: "Christmas feels most special when there is something everyone can enjoy together."

"I’m excited that people across Great Britain can vote for a town where the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck could add even more festive sparkle – whether that means more things to do, a new reason for friends and families to come together, or simply an unforgettable dose of Christmas magic."

"Now is the time to get involved and vote for the town you would most like the Truck to visit."

Research accompanying the vote found that 82 per cent of people surveyed across Great Britain wished their town felt more festive.

Lights and decorations topped the wish list for 75 per cent of respondents, followed by markets or fairs at 65 per cent.

Half said a welcoming town-centre atmosphere made a place feel like Christmas.

Nearly half said their town was missing a Christmas market, while 42 per cent wanted more free community events.

The most common reason for choosing a destination was that the town did not usually host major festive events, cited by 36 per cent, while 35 per cent wanted to attract more visitors to their town centre.

More than three quarters agreed that shared celebrations helped people feel connected to home.

Charlotte Butt, senior brand manager at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: "Allowing fans to vote for the next truck stop is all about spreading joy and inspiring the nation to celebrate the communities that help them thrive."

"The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck has created memorable festive moments in communities across Great Britain for many years, and this year people can help choose where it goes next by voting for a town that needs some extra festive cheer."
