Alex Boboci, a 27-year-old from Peterborough, has been jailed after he was caught by police with cannabis in his car during a routine stop.

On January 19, Cambridgeshire Police officers were on patrol in St Luke's Street, Cambridge, when they stopped a black Skoda Fabia being driven by Boboci.

Upon stopping him, they discovered that he was uninsured and had no valid UK driving licence.

Cambridgeshire Police officers also found £1,710 in cash in Boboci's jacket, as well as two bags of cannabis in the back of the vehicle.
